The Alzheimer’s Association has been helping those affected by Alzheimer’s disease since they were founded in 1980. Every year, they host the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. This event raises funds and awareness by bringing communities together to fight against a disease that touches millions of lives.
This past weekend, Home Instead of Los Altos was proud to walk alongside 276 teams and over 2,100 participants at the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Silicon Valley at Lake Cunningham Park. So far, the Silicon Valley community has raised nearly $2,000,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association, bringing us one step closer to finding a cure.
Even if you missed the walk, there’s still time to contribute. You can donate to support the cause by visiting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Silicon Valley Page Here.
At Home Instead, we work hard every day to support seniors through community fundraisers like the Walk to End Alzheimer's and providing the best Alzheimer’s care in Los Altos, CA.
