When most of us are blissfully asleep, our CAREGiver of the Month LaDora Allison is hard at work. One of our beloved CAREGivers here at Home Instead San Diego, LaDora continually impresses our office staff, our clients, and their families through her willingness to build trust, take the lead, and share her heart.
LaDora builds trust through her reliability, hardworking nature, and exemplary CAREGiving. She is truly dedicated to our Clients. Our clients’ families regard LaDora with high praise. One acknowledged that LaDora “has really good eye contact; she's very responsible”. The office staff can trust LaDora to always be ready for her shifts and put our client’s needs first.
LaDora takes the lead through her hard-work and commitment to above-and-beyond service. From day one LaDora hit the ground running as an overnight Caregiver. She is diligent about informing the office about her client's conditions and is always ready to assist her clients in the late evening and early morning hours. All our office staff greatly appreciate her flexibility and her inherent motivation.
LaDora shares her heart with our Clients by meeting them where they are emotionally and verbally. She is willing to speak in a way our clients can understand. She ensures that they feel heard and respected. Our clients have stated that LaDora is “really good; she gave good feedback and communicated well.” Another is sure her loved one “would sleep throughout the night” because the client felt “comfortable and safe enough to do so.” with LaDora there.
Home Instead San Diego would not be able to provide the quality, personalized overnight and daytime care that we want to without LaDora. Thank you, LaDora, for being a key part of our Home Instead mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families! We could not do this without you!!!
