South Denver Business Welcomes New Owners

Kristin and Robert Dahlquist continue service to older adults in the local community and join the Home Instead Denver office as new owners.

DENVER, CO – Home Instead, the leading provider of in-home care for older adults globally, welcomes new owners Kristin and Robert Dahlquist to the Denver office.

President and Owner Kristin Dahlquist is no stranger to senior care, and Home Instead in particular. She previously owned and operated the Castle Rock Home Instead office prior to becoming the owner of Home Instead South Denver and Littleton. Her history with the company goes back even further to when she worked as an intern during college almost 14 years ago at the Denver office which was owned by her uncle and aunt. After she earned her Doctorate in Social Work, her commitment to change the way we care for older adults brought her back to Home Instead in Colorado.

Robert, Kristin’s father, is the co-owner and vice president of the South Denver office. Robert brings decades of public service and corporate human resources experience to Home Instead. Robert grew up on Cass Street in Omaha, Nebraska just doors down from where Home Instead, Inc. was founded in 1994. Robert’s great aunt, Emily Dahlquist, was the third Home Instead client in the organization’s history.

The Denver office serves seniors and their families in Denver, Littleton, Lakewood, Aurora and the surrounding area and is located at 2095 S. Pontiac Way, Denver, Colorado 80224. The second office is located at 5104 S. Field Street Unit D, Littleton, CO 80213. This month, the company is celebrating its 25th anniversary of when it was founded in Denver.

“I am extremely excited and humbled to continue to provide care and support the needs of Denver seniors,” said Kristin Dahlquist. “Playing such a critical role in helping our neighbors feel safe and comfortable in their own homes, while also building strong relationships with our local community, is an incredibly rewarding experience. We are also deeply committed to being the employer of choice for professional caregivers across the Denver Metro area.”

Home Instead provides personalized care, support and education to help enhance the lives of older adults and their families. The Denver office serves clients with dedicated staff members and professional caregivers. It is part of the largest in-home care network in the world.

“Now more than ever, we are experiencing a surge in demand for in-home care services – and the need only continues to grow alongside the aging population,” Robert Dahlquist said. “Our mission at Home Instead is to provide the highest-quality care for seniors and ensure they are able to age confidently at home. The service and companionship that our caregivers provide play an important role in helping to combat isolation and loneliness, both of which have become particularly prevalent in recent years.”

Along with personalized care, Home Instead provides resources and materials to families in the community. These resources offer information and guidance on aging-related issues. Much of these materials are free and available to anyone through the office website.
