Each year, Alzheimer’s touches more lives, affecting over six million Americans and their loved ones. To support those impacted by this disease and fund important research, the Alzheimer’s Association hosts the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.
Participants at the walk carry flowers from the Promise Garden, each color symbolizing a unique connection to the cause. This colorful display reminds us that Alzheimer’s affects us all and that together, we’re stronger.
- Blue represents those living with Alzheimer’s
- Purple for those lost
- Yellow for caregivers
- Orange for supporters of a future without the disease
As we strive to provide the best home care in North Indianapolis, IN, we will continue to support organizations and events that provide services to seniors and adults in our community. If you missed the walk, you can still make a donation on the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Indianapolis, IN Page.
