Every year, Home Instead of San Jose proudly participates in the Be a Santa to a Senior (BASTAS) program, bringing joy to seniors who might otherwise feel forgotten during the holidays. We partner with the community to collect gifts and deliver seniors thoughtful surprises that brighten their season.
This year our team distributed gifts to 746 seniors throughout our community. We were delighted to connect with senior neighbors and watch their faces light up as they opened gifts. For those without family or friends nearby, these small gestures mean the world.
