I enjoy taking peaceful nature walks through the woods and reading almost anything! What do you love most about being a Home Instead CAREGiver? I love the people I get to work with and meet. Each CAREGiver and client have made working here so special and interesting. We all have something important to contribute and I love that we are all working together to give our clients a better life.What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
In the past 5 years I have learned the value of listening to your clients. Listening to their stories can make you appreciate the life journey they have had and it also lets them know that you care.
What is your biggest piece of advice to other CAREGivers?
Always listen to your client and practice constant communication. Even if you just need to leave the room, it provides your client with peace of mind.
