Congrats to May's CAREGiver of the month, Jennifer DeVoe! Jennifer loves serving her clients and it definitely shows! We hope you enjoy getting to know her better in the interview:
Q: What drew you to Home Instead?
A: I worked with special needs for over 20 years and it has always been something that I loved doing. I wanted to continue to help and care for people and Home Instead gave me that opportunity.
Q: When are you the happiest?
A: I am the happiest when I get to see all my kids and my 3 month old grand daughter. They are all older, so that makes it more difficult to find time to spend with them but at the same time it makes it so much more special when I do get to see them.
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: Making candles and riding my motorcycle.
Q: What advice would you give to other CAREGivers?
A: Treat your clients like you would for your family. Listen to them, be patient, and always wear a smile on your face because that will help them to stay positive!
Q: What words best describe yourself?
A: Hard worker, funny, and caring!
