Mini-Interview with Margie Orth, General Manager
How long have you been with Home Instead and what does your current role consist of?
Margie: I have been working with this great group of caregivers and office staff for 4 years! I am incredibly blessed to have found my new home although a little later in life – still where I can learn from all those I work with, and families I can meet. I wish I would have known more about Home Instead when my dad was aging.
What do you find most rewarding about working at Home Instead?
Margie: Absolutely the conversations with all of our care professionals and staff. I love getting to know our caregivers and finding ways to support all they do in their day. The caregivers that work here at Home Instead are exceptional in their care for others. I have become a better person by being part of this community.
What is one thing you want people to know about your staff?
Margie: We constantly want to learn and grow as we receive feedback from our clients and our Care Pros. We believe that honest feedback is critical in helping each other. We want YOU to share your experiences and suggestions.
If you could change anything in the world what would it be?
Margie: I want kindness in this world at all times. We can be kind to each other and to whomever we encounter throughout our day. Each person has the power to change someone's day for the better.
