Falls are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries among older adults. Each year, millions of seniors aged 65 and older fall. At Home Instead, we are passionate about empowering older adults to lead happy, healthy lives, free from the fear of falling. That's why we're excited to invite you to the 3rd Annual Falls Prevention Fair, a collaborative event hosted by Banner - University Medicine & University of Arizona Health Sciences.
The Falls Prevention Fair will take place on Monday, September 25th, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Health Sciences Innovation Building at the University of Arizona. This event offers a wealth of resources for older adults, including educational sessions by university experts, interactive workshops on balance and tai chi, a vendor fair, refreshments, and giveaways.
This event is designed to equip older adults with the knowledge and tools they need to prevent falls and enjoy life to the fullest. Home Instead Tucson and Home Instead of Green Valley will be there, so be sure to stop by our booth to learn more about home care and how older adults can live without the fear of falling.
