Stephen Lair, Franchise Owner
Stephen Lair is the franchise owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Chapel Hill. He was selected as a member of the E.A. Morris Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in 2009 and has been twice chosen as one of WCHL's Hometown Hero Village Pride Award recipients. As an Eagle Scout, Stephen has always had a passion for the outdoors and is heavily involved as a leader with the local Boy Scouts of America. Stephen has served as host for a variety of local events such as the Alzheimer's Walk, the National Parkinsons Foundation's Moving Day and Wreaths Across America. Stephen is also a highly sought after speaker, singer, emcee and auctioneer. As a local expert on aging, Stephen has made appearances on Time Warner Cable News, WCHL, UNCTV, WNCN, WCHL and iHeartradio. Stephen and his wife, Cher, have seven remarkable sons and one incredible daughter: Jackson, Campbell, Sawyer, Houston, Shepherd, Knox, Fisher and Ruby.
Kristin Broughton, Executive Director of Sales
Kristin comes to Home Instead with over a decade of sales experience and is tasked not only with building a network of community partners in Chapel Hill but with providing direction to our sales teams at each of our four locations. Our holistic approach to serving the needs of seniors and their families requires the seamless integration of local doctors, nurses, communities, and services. We are blessed to having Kristin leading the charge towards better outcomes for the seniors we are privileged to serve.
Jackie Johnson, Director of Concierge Services
As a native to North Carolina, serving Tarheel seniors is in Jackie's DNA. She has worked in a variety of capacities within the Home Instead family and is now tasked to provide a critical level of support for our clients, their families, and our fantastic care professionals. In addition to making sure our newer care professionals get started off on the right foot, Jackie coordinates our Quality Assurance (QA) program and is always looking to improve the way we serve seniors and their families.
Savanah Atkins, Senior Client Manager
Savanah is one of the prime points of contact for clients and their families. She directs a team of individuals who are dedicated to Exceeding the Expectations of Everyone We Encounter. We call it simply- Our 4E's. "I love working in home care because it allows me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of senior and their families."
Christy Rockefeller, Regional General Manager
Christy oversees an entire team of individuals who work largely behind the scenes to make the care we provide look effortless. It has been said that it takes a village. Christy is the mayor of that village. "I love being part of an organization that is able to focus on both maintaining the independence of seniors and building a great place for care professionals to work. Both of those missions are so important to me."
