Carol Speckmann, Client Care Coordinator
Carol joined Home Instead in 2017. After working as a part time manager in retail while raising her four children, she was looking for something more rewarding. Carol's dedication to her clients is unmatched. She takes the time to get to know them and their families, in order to provide them with the best care possible.
In her free time, Carol enjoys spending time with family and friends. In the fall and winter, she enjoys Husker football and Creighton basketball. In the summer, you'll find her by the pool.

For me, Home Instead really is personal. My Grandma Effie was living alone
in her home after my Grandpa passed away. She was showing signs of
cognitive decline and needed additional assistance. Home Instead played an
important role in keeping her safe physically and emotionally as she aged.
Her attentive caregiver eased her struggles as she battled the effects of
dementia and kept her safe until the end of her life. I aim to help other
seniors have similar experiences in comfort and safety.

When I entered the LTC world in 2021, I was floored by the shortage of
nursing in the industry and the need for the increase of caregivers to take
the burden of non-medical duties from them. Home Instead is able to play a
critical role in both that relief to our nursing community while also
providing a necessary and cost saving service to our clients who struggle
with the duties in daily life and make sure they have the care needed for a
quality life.
